Puerto
del Carmen is Lanzarote's main tourist resort, situated
just south of the airport and the island's capital, Arricife. It
boasts some 12 kilometres of sandy beaches and has clubs, discos,
casino, bars, restaurants and shops galore along the seafront. The
old town and harbour area have several excellent seafood and other
restaurants.
